[X] Lab of the future

This is indeed a lab of the future - the very first lab Jérôme created at the UnternehmerTUM. It was built up for the TECHFEST 2016 to enable us to run the AstraZeneca Lab of the Future Challenge.

This was the beginning, only 1.5 years later we managed to fund and build the [x] Biokitchen and this was the see of all. 

The goal of AstraZeneca Lab of the Future challenge was to reinvent the way you handle liquids.

During the 3 day hackathon, the teams controlled the Opentron Pipetting Robot with Cameras, turned a regular CD Drive into a centrifugal force lab on a chip, experimented with electrovetted microfluidics and even created a the Personal Protein Printer (winner of the science award), that was meant to enable to assemble proteins without the use of custom DNA. All it needed was customized tRNAs that can be inserted on the plate and washed away after.
